Far too many children in foster care are all but forgotten. We are working to change that with the Forgotten Children campaign.  This campaign was created to raise community awareness of foster children & to aid in the recruitment of much-needed CASA volunteer advocates.  Our advocates work to assure that foster children have a voice in the court process and that their best interest is always considered. The Forgotten Children display will include 130 stand-up life-size cutouts representing the average number of children living in foster care in the Enotah Judicial Circuit.

Volunteers are needed to assist with set-up, manning the exhibit & take-down. Get a free Disney ticket for working for the Forgotten Children!

National CASA Association ~ 29th Annual Conference

April 16 — April 19

Atlanta Marriott Marquis Hotel

The National CASA Annual Conference provides a unique opportunity to join leading consultants, legal and social service professionals as well as representatives from the entire CASA network. Through education, training and networking opportunities, attendees discover new ideas and solutions to fortify us as we carry out our service to abused and neglected children.

Who should come to National CASA's multi-disciplinary conference? As one CASA volunteer recently said of people she has encountered in her work, "People who believe that kids count."

Make connections & gain knowledge that will inspire you to spring into action as a advocate for the best interests of children in care. At the National CASA Annual Conference, you will:

· Hear a rousing keynote by Judge Glenda Hatchett

· Network with 1,400 child advocates from across the US

· Choose from more than 60 workshops

Active CASA/GAL Volunteer Discount

National CASA is proud to honor the work volunteers do on behalf of the children we serve. In appreciation, a discount of $70 is extended to all active CASA/GAL volunteers. Please use discount code CASAvol2010 when registering.
